* If you can bring international driver's licence and rent a car, I believe that is the best way for you to travel around since there are many nice spots to visit. Also, if you have time, I suggest you to stay at least one night here in Yamanashi. There are lots of nice inns with reasonable fare. Many of them have Onsen, natural hot spring facilities. 　　　　　　　　　　　　Ｆｉｒｓｔ, ｐｌｅａｓｅ get off at KOFU-SHOWA EXIT of CHUO Xpwy and continue in Nirasaki/Nagano
　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　ｄｉｒｅｃｔｉｏｎ　on R.20. Please stay in the left lane, and soon you will come under the Ｃｈｕｏ　
Xpwy bridge（ｆｉｒｓｔ　ｏｎｅ）　ａｎｄ pass under the second one ｒｉｇｈｔ　ａｆｔｅｒwards．
　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　Ｉｍｍｅｄiａｔｅｌｙ, after this second one, please turn left and go along R 20. (Be careful here, please.)
　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　 　　　　　If you continue on the one-way road along R 20, then, you will hit the first light (徳行東), and here, turn left
　　　　　　　　　　　　　　please. Keep going for 4-5 kms. When you see Ryuo branch (竜王店） of TOYOTA dealer on
　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　your left hand, you must make a left turn along the main street and keep going straight till you hit the next
　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　light. Here, at this corner, you will see an optical shop (めがねスーパー) on your right. Please turn right at
　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　this corner and pass the next two lights and also a long bridge called KAIKOKUBASHI (開国橋) on FUJI
　　RIVER (another name is KAMANASHI RIVER).
　　　　　　　　　　　　　　After passing this bridge, you will be entering Minami Alps City(南アルプス市). Soon, you will meet　with
　　　　　　　　　　　　first light(開国橋西　KAIKOKUBASHI-NISHI) and will hit another one (上今諏訪　KAMI-IMASUWA).
　　　　　　　　　　At this intersection, please turn right. You will see a local post office on your left and hit the
　　　　　　　　　　　next light (SHIRANE KOUKOU MINAMI 白根高校南 which means South of Shirane High School).
　　　At this corner, please turn left and keep going straight
　　　　　　　　　　　　　for another 4-5 Kms. On the way, you will pass two more lights and　ｌａｔｅｒ come under the High Way
　　　 　　　Bridge (中部横断道路,CHUBU OODAN DOORO・・・・・・ｔｈｅｒｅ　ｉｓ　ａｎｏｔｈｅｒ　ｌｉｇｈｔ　ｒｉｇｈｔ　ｈｅｒｅ）,
　　　　　　　but keep going until you hit R52（ｗｈｉｃｈ　ｍｅａｎｓ　ｎｅｘｔ　ｌｉｇｈｔ　ａｆｔｅｒ　ｂｒｉｄｇｅ　ｔｕｎｎｅｌ），ｐｌｅａｓｅ.
　　　　　　　　　When you ａｒｅ　crossｉｎｇ R52, you will see a SEVEN ELEVEN on your left. This intersection is called
　　　　　　　　SANGAIYA (三階屋) in the local area but on the traffic light, they put the name IINOＨ (飯野) and
　　most local people are familiar with this name, SANGAIYA on R.52.
　　 　　　　　　　　　　　　　After this intersection, please go straight for another 400ms （ｗｈｉｃｈ　ｍｅａｎｓ　in a westby
　　　　　　　　　 direction） and you will see our sign 中込農園 (NAKAGOMI ORCHARD
　ｏｒ　ＮＡＫＡＧＯＭＩ　ＮＯＵＥＮ) on your left. Our house is on your right.

　　　　　　　　Yamanashi Kotsu Bus (山梨交通バス) at KOFU Station. Outside the south (main entrance) exit of
　JR KOFU Station, you will see the bus terminal of YAMANASHI KOTSU.
　　　　　　At the bus terminal,　please make sure that you are catching NISHINO-KEIYU BUS ( which is the
　　　　　　　　　　　bus bringing you through NISHINO area in SHIRANE town in this direction). The NISHINO-KEIYU (西野経由),
　　　　　　　　　　　goes to various destinations but don't worry.

　　　　　　　　　As long as you catch NISHINO-KEIYU, then, the bus will come this way. After about 30 minutes'
　　　　　　ride, the bus will bring you to SANGAI (三階) stop in SHIRANE-MACHI where you must get off.
　　　　　　　　After you get off the bus, you will see a traffic light in a westby direction. Please walk toward the light
　 　　　　　　and　cross the main street (R.52) and walk straight on for about another 300 meters and you will see
our sign [中込農園 (NAKAGOMI NOUEN)] on your left.
　　　　　　　　　From Shinjuku to Kofu, it takes about 1.5 hours by express train and takes another 30 minutes from
　Kofu (甲府) to Sangai bus stop (三階).

　 　As for Chuo Express Bus, you can call either 03-5376-2222 or 055-237-0135 to make your

To get here, one of the easiest ways is to take the express bus from Shinjuku at 7:35 a.m. Then, you can arrive at Shirane Michino Eki bus stop at 9:58 a.m. and we will come to pick you up if you want. To go back to Tokyo, you can take Yamanashi Kotsu bus and we will give you a ride to Sangaiya bus stop where you can catch the local bus for JR Kofu station.		After you arrive JR Kofu station, you have two choices to get to our farm. Either you take Yamanashi Kotsu local bus by way of Nishino Keiyu and come to Sangaiya Bus stop. Or at JR Kofu station, you take local train to JR Shiozaki station that locates two stops after Kofu. By that I mean Kofu-Ryuo-Shiozaki. At JR Shiozaki, please take a taxi and come to Nakagomi Orchard in Minami Alps city. If you have trouble communicating with a taxi driver, then, you can let me talk to him on your mobile phone or public phone at the station. Then, I can talk to him for you and give him directions to get here. Usually, it takes 15 min. from Shiozaki station to get here and cost you around 2,500 yen one way. If you take a taxi from JR Kofu, then, it will cost you around 4,000 yen - 4,500 yen one way. That's why I suggest you to come to Shiozaki station and take a taxi.
		But, the best way would be that you rent a car and come to Nakagomi Orchard. Then, besides visiting our farm for your fruit picking, you can go to Mt. Fuji in just 30 min. and also visit Onsen or the nice whiskey factory, local nice restaurants and historical sites easily.
THE BEST WAY TO TRAVEL IN YAMANASHI as long as you can drive a car. JR's Torenta Kun (JR express train + rent a car as a set) Link * You must bring your international driver's license. *You can depend on GPS or the map that I made. *When you use GPS system to get to our farm, please make sure that you put our home address instead of our phone number. 山梨県南アルプス市飯野 2281. If you ask anybody at a rent a car office (Eki Rent a car) of JR Kofu Station, he or she will help you. Please tell them that you wanna go to Nakagomi Nouen (中込農園) (Nakagomi Orchard) in Minami Alps City. Otherwise, you can give me your call to my mobile phone and let me talk to them.	In case you wanna visit many nice tourists' spots here in Yamanashi, the best way would be this system. Before you come to Yamanashi, you should go to any JR ticket office and apply for this. Yamanashi is resort prefecture and has many nice spots to visit. As for where to visit here in Yamanashi, I can give you some advice when you get here.	Here I, am writing the best way for you in case you are willing to rent a car and drive here in Yamanashi prefecture. It is called "Torenta kun"It is mixed word that comes from train plus rent a car. When you buy the tickets for any express at Midori no Madoguchi" office, JR ticketing office, then, please tell them that you want to have the ticket for "Torenta Kun".They will discount the fare for express and rent a car. It is a very reasonable price as long as you want to take the express and rent a car. When you get off JR Kofu station, you can go out through South exit and walk downstairs toward the main entrance of the station building and turn right, where the rent a car site is located right next to the police box. In case you get lost at JR Kofu station, you can ask any station man at either ticketing gate or Midori no Madoguchi office. The phone number of their Kofu branch is 055-235-1705. The fare of rent a car is 4520 yen to 12600 yen per day. It depends on the size of the car you want. TORENTA-KUN includes JR express & Eki rent a car. You can apply for TORENTA-KUN at JR SHINJUKU ticketing office. That way, you can get discounted fare. * In Yamanashi, there are many nice spots for tourists that I can recommend to visit, such as very spacious flower garden, Suntory' whiskey factory, Takeda shrine, Shosenkyo Gorge and so on. Yet, as long as you are coming by public transportation, you can't visit many places in a day.

Since many customers from overseas ask me how to get to our farm from Lake Kawaguchiko(河口湖 one of five lakes) near Mt. Fuji, I'm putting the following information.

How to get to our farm from Mt. Fuji/Fuji-Q Highland Resort area by public transportation.

How to get here from Lake Kawaguchi in Mt. Fuji area by public transportation.

(1) First, take Fujikyu line at Lake Kawaguchiko Station to JR Ohtsuki(大月). (30-40 min.) 1,110 yen for one way (2) Then, at Ohtsuki, transfer to JR Chuo Line and come to Kofu, the capital of Yamanashi.( 1 hour by local train, 30 min. by express) (3) There are two ways for you at Kofu(甲府) station. Either you continue taking Chuo line and come to JR Shiozaki Station that locates in next two stops after Kofu. At Shiozaki, after you get off the train, you can take a taxi and come to our farm. (10 min. from Kofu to Shiozaki, Shiozaki to our farm 20 min. by taxi) Or at JR Kofu station, you get off the south exit and walk down the train station building. Right in front of the station building, you will see Yamanashi Kotsu(山梨交通) bus terminal. You can take any NishinoKeiyu (西野経由) bus and come to Sangaiya (三階屋) bus stop. We will come to pick you up at Sangaiya bus stop. *If you are coming from JR Kofu directly to our farm by taxi, it might cost you about 5,000 yen for one way while it will be 2,500-3,000 yen from Shiozaki Station to our farm. The fare for JR between Kofu to Shiozaki(塩崎駅) is about 200 yen only. As long as you are taking a taxi, you can make your call to my mobile phone and I can talk to your taxi driver and give him the direction to get here.

* If you are coming by car, it takes only an hour. (1) First, you take Highway at Kawaguchiko(河口湖) IC and go all the way to Ohtsuki(大月)JCT. Then, go forward to Kofu (甲府) direction all the way to Futaba (双葉)JCT and go foward to Minami Alps direction. At the first IC called Shirane (白根) IC, you can get off. After Shirane IC, please follow another detailed map. From Shirane IC, it takes only 3 min. to our farm. *Please remember that two of the gas stations on the map are both disappeared. *Also, the pink color bridge was taken away in January 2014.

If you intend to go to Mt. Fuji's 5th step by car or bus, it possibly takes another half an hour from Lake Kawaguchiko area. You have to take Fuji-Subaru Line that is toll road all the way to the 5th step. Or if you are going by bus, you can catch Fujikyuko bus at Lake Kawaguchiko station area, I believe.
